What is your experience with the floor bed? My husband is very skeptical, because he’s afraid that it is to effortful to lay down the baby (because of the high of the bed). Same thing by changing the diaper. Do you may have an advice?

I was thinking about making this with neutral colors, because Montessori prefers neutral color for babies. But hearing from you that the origin of topponcino is from India where they use colorful fabric, I think I will incorporate my culture's fabric and motives! Because here, we have tradition to use a certain cultural fabric while carrying the baby and it has a lot of color and design ☺️ Thank you!

And if the kid chooses none of it? What them? They just go to bed hungry? I feel like this either works, or it’s a recipe for a kid to think they control everything and can just eat whenever they want, like at 2am when everyone (parents included) need to be sleeping and recharging the battery.

I do have a room similar to this one, and I am now finding it so hard to deal with the floor bed because my 8 months baby is on a growth spurt and does not want to sleep, so he keeps getting out of the bed even when he is exhausted and totally needing to sleep. Do you have any tips to manage this phase at all?

This is seriously one of the best videos I’ve come across to help me get started with the Montessori way .. The PDF was thoughtfully put together and is an excellent resource.. I’m starting at 6 mos with my twin grandma use that I babysit. I think I overwhelmed them the first weeks I watched them cuz I thought lots of color and lots of stuff to get their attention and they would end up crying. I bought the Lovery playmate not knowing it was Montessori inspired and was amazed at how captivated they both were with it. I’ve learned to step away and let them focus and concentrate. So, now I’m looking to add to their play items and now have a clear idea of what to get them.. Needkess to say, I’m not buying anymore batteries, I think the 3 of us got headaches with the flashing lights and blaring sounds.. Thank you, thank you and 🙏🏽 😊.. I’m excited to be on this life journey with both of them 🥰
